The Cary news had a summary of the recent meet the candidates for the Holly Springs council elections. There is a great quote from Parrish Womble – “I intend to work extra hard to see if we can get this out without making it a toll road”.

Most of the people running for council seem to be for responsible growth and all seemed concerned about the roads in Holly Springs. The lack of four lane roads around town should be a concern, especially in an emergency situation with the power plant; outside of the 55 bypass there are no 4 lane roads.
